Kane Mar Certified Scrum Trainer™
Kane Mar is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and a Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) specializing in Scrum and Extreme Programming. Kane is one of the only 9 consultants in the world which are both CSC and CST.
Kane has already trained more that 800 Certified ScrumMasters (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owners (CSPO) in Europe, Australia and North America.
Kane has been working exclusively with Agile software development teams since 2001 and has worked with clients such as QPass, Microsoft, Capital One, Progressive, and TransCanada Pipelines. Kane believes that learning is most effective if done through a combination of exercises, games, and discussion. He has constructed his training materials to provide an educational but still enjoyable course.
Kane is also experienced in guiding organizations that are transitioning to an Agile organization. This includes preparing senior management and business partners for changes resulting from the introduction of Scrum. His past employers have included PricewaterhouseCoopers, ThoughtWorks (USA) and Danube Technologies.
Prior to his work with Agile software development, Kane had 15 years of experience as a developer and project manager for Waterfall and RUP projects working with Java, Smalltalk, C, SQL and PL/SQL. Kane's recent technical interests have turned towards Ruby primarily because of its similarlity to Smalltalk.
