Brenda Bao      Agile Coach, (CSP CSM CSPO)

Brenda Bao has more than 5 years of software development experience in telecom software industry and more than 3 years of experience with Agile development using Scrum.

From 2007 to 2009, she was one of the key drivers of a big organizational movement towards Agile/Scrum at Ericsson Shanghai.

At the year 2007, Brenda Bao started to push the organization to go Agile from bottom up as an Engineer. Despite the challenges, she managed to build the first Scrum team while all the other projects being still waterfall. Encouraged by the taste of scrum, she continued to scale Scrum to the whole product. Although changing an organization is never easy, she moved on with various experiences of success and failure.

From year 2009, with all those valuable experiences, her journey continues as an Agile Coach in a software development consulting company, OutSofting, in order to help more organizations to be more effective with Agile development. She provides trainings to let people understand Scrum, coaching teams to help them really use Scrum as well as consulting to the organization for the possible organizational changes.

Brenda Bao is herself a CSP (Certified Scrum Professional), a CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) and a CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner). She is therefore recognized by the ScrumAlliance as one of the few persons in China with the most valuable Scrum experience.

Brenda Bao is also an Agile editor for InfoQ China and has provided presentations and trainings for number of conferences in China including  China Software Technology Conference 2009 in Beijing, Agile Tour 2009 in Chengdu, QCon Beijing 2010 and CSSPI Beijing 2010.
